Come & join us for the fourth of our monthly Nature & History Walking Tours.
Nature & History Walking Tour - Flora, Fauna, Guns, Tunnels & B&W houses-Labrador Park/April 12
Our very experienced and knowledgeable guide (she is an NParks guide as well as STB) will take us through historic Labrador Park pointing out things of particular interest, especially wildlife. Birds are her specialty so hopefully we'll see lost of different varieties!
We will also look at the historical significance of the area as a 19th century fort, modernised as part of the defences of Singapore before WW2...including those "secret tunnels".
After a 2 hour walk, we will go to the nearby Tamarind Hill restaurant for refreshments (included in the price) before heading back to town.
Please note we will meet at Labrador Park MRT at 9am. The relevant directions will be sent to you a few days before the walk.
